Voting

In America, people get to choose who represents them. Many people in the past died for our right to choose who governs and represents us; to not fall under communist or socialist rule. Americans therefore should vote - for it is a responsibility of being US citizens. You can choose to not vote, but then you're just placing your future into the hands of other people who  may choose a bad candidate.
